Description
The Basic Offshore Safety Introduction and Emergency Training (BOSIET ) is a three-day training intended for employees working in the offshore sector. The aim of this training is to provide knowledge to offshore personnel about basic safety on platforms, survival at sea and providing (basic) first aid.
BOSIET is OPITO approved, accepted and is valid worldwide. The certificate is valid for 4 years. Within 4 years the certificate has to be refreshed.

This Bosiet training includes:
- Safety induction;
- Fire fighting;
- First aid;
- Hypothermia;
- Helicopter safety/ HUET + EBS;
- Lifeboat Theory and Practice;
- Survival Theory and Practice;
- Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA EBS)
Requirements for participation:
In order to participate to the training, participants need to have a valid offshore medical certificate or declaration of good health from their doctor. We can arrange at your own costs a medical examination for the participants on our training facilities
